Teacher: Dana Andreoni
My name is Dana Andreoni, and I am delighted to be joining the St. Peter's Nursery Preschool staff. I first became acquainted with St. Peter's in 2006 when I enrolled my son in the "Mommy and Me" program. Immediately I knew that we had entered a very special place. Now eleven years later, both of my children graduates of St. Peter's, I am blessed to be a teacher for the four-year-old program.
I currently hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University, as well as a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Dowling College. After working in the business world for several years after college, I realized that working with children was my true passion. I worked in the Harborfields' Central School District prior to having my children. When my youngest child entered kindergarten, I decided to return to teaching because I know in my heart that the classroom is where I am truly meant to be.
Hi, my name is Joan Bindrim. I started subbing at St. Peter's Nursery Preschool 19 years ago. Who would have guessed that I would wind up working here as an Assistant for 18 years! I fell in love with it. I found my passion is working with children. The children bring smiles to my face every single day. I am so blessed to be doing something I so truly enjoy.
Assistant: Nadine Bias
My name is Nadine Bias. I am beginning my 18th year at St. Peter's. This year I will be working as an assistant in Mrs. DePalo's 4-year-old class and Mrs. Rea's 3 year old class. In the past, I have been an assistant for a four year old class, a three-year-old class, a two year old class, as well as, a lead teacher in the two year old room. I have found each of the ages has their own challenges and rewards. I am excited to once again be working in a fun filled learning experience with four-year-olds. My husband and I have both been Huntington residents all our lives and have three wonderful children. I began working at St. Peter's when our youngest entered preschool. From the very first day, St. Peter's was like a second family to me. Supportive parents, encouraging colleagues, and enthusiastic students make the everyday adventure of teaching preschool even that much more enjoyable.
