Art Enrichment Class completed their Valentine’s Day canvases last week and surprised their parents today with their finished projected. This week they picked their favorite color heart, glued it down to black construction paper and then painted heart shapes on top using a play dough cutter. All you need is love. β€οΈ There is no class next for winter break. β€οΈ

Art Enrichment Session 2 - Week 5 - We continued working on our multi-step Valentine’s Day project. We applied glue using a paintbrush. The children thought that was pretty neat. There aren’t many pictures because that would ruin your surprise for next week. We will see everyone next week and put the finishing touches on our projects. Enjoy the rest of the week. β€οΈπ
πΆMusic EnrichmentπΆ Today, the children learned a new instrument - the tambourine.
First, our class began practicing singing our new Valentine’s Day song.
Then, we moved on to learning about the tambourine. Each child took turns playing it.
Finally, we began creating their own very own tambourine. We will finish them next week.

Art Enrichment Session 2 - Week 4
This session, we began our Valentine’s Day project. It will be a multiple step project to be completed over a few sessions. Today, the class began painting their artwork using paint brushes and sponges. Next week, we will begin adding to our project. We end every class with a dance party.

Session 2 - Week 3 Today, we painted a winter scene in a canvas. The artists chose paint colors - shades of blue, purple and white, and blue and iridescent glitter and mini snowflake cut outs to finish off their pieces. Each artist used a gift card to spread the paint across their canvas. Each piece is so incredibly unique. They are still drying and will be sent home later this week. We will see everyone next week.

Week 2 -Session 2 of Art Enrichment- Color Resistance Painting - the child drew a design using a white crayon then watercolor painted over it to create the magic picture to appear. See you all next week. π¨π¨π»π¨
In Music Enrichment, we learned all about bells and the sounds they make when you ring them. Afterwards, the children made a hand bell to bring home. Before class ended, we sang a few of our favorite songs. π

Hallelujah! Christmas Chapel for M-F and MWF classes was today. The service and performances were top notch today. Everyone did a superb job! Thank you to our dedicated and wonderful staff for making this event a success. And, thank you to all of our families for letting us be such a huge part of your children’s lives. Our TTH classes had Christmas Chapel today. We are so very proud of the children and their performances. Spanish Enrichment Session 2 started today. This session the children will be working on creating a number book. This week lesson began with the number “uno”.
Art Enrichment finished their first art showcase piece today. It is based on the story “I ain’t gonna paint no more!”. This project was done over 2 classes. Today, the students put their finishing touches on their masterpiece by adding their painted handprints. Their artwork will be hung in the main corridor for all to see. Please come check out our fantastic little artists work. Each session of Art Enrichment we will have one showcase displayed. Reminder: We have one more class of session 1.
Literacy Enrichment Session 1 has come to an end. We finished our Mo Willems author study today. We hope your children enjoyed each week’s new story. Next week, begins Session 2.
