Art Enrichment π¨ποΈ - We read “I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More.” Our art project is going to be done in multiple steps. Today, we completed step one which was painting our backgrounds. Steps two and three will be completed in the next classes. Just a reminder - There is no class next week and we have two classes left for session one. Session 2 begins on 12/17. Thankful Thursday - Another day of Kindness - Our TTH classes showed their school spirit today by wearing YELLOW for World Kindness Day. Thank you for your participation! π
A very special thank you to our very own, Mrs. Dost! Today, she visited each classroom and read the book “Albuquerque Turkey” and taught the students the song. The children were so eager to hear the story and sing the song. What a wonderful tradition. We love you, Mrs. Dost! π¦
Art Enrichment - Today, we read “I’m NOT Just A Scribble.” Then each child created their own scribble art and added stickers to complete it. So much fun and very creative.

Our PREK class understood the assignment! Job well done with their decorate a pumpkin projects. Each one is very creative. This class deserves a huge round of applause. Please stop by the table by the main school entrance to check out their artwork. Happy Halloween! π
Art Enrichment - Special Halloween Art - We made ghosts using white paint in a squeeze bottle and spreading the paint with a squeegee to create ghosts. To complete their project, the children added googly eyes and a mouth. There is no class next week because school is closed. Happy Halloween! π
Art Enrichment- We read the story. “A color of his own” - Then the children painted various colors on bubble wrap. After they were done painting the bubble wrap, they pressed their cutout onto the paint to create their “ chameleon” art. See you next week! π¨ποΈ

MWF and M-F classes attended their first chapel of the school year today with much success. Thank you, Vicar Christian for your bible lesson and songs.
Art Enrichment - We read the book “Blue Chicken”. Then the teacher traced each of the children’s hands to create chickens. Finally, the children used a dropper to paint their picture of the chicken spreading and splashing blue paint. It was a great lesson using fine motor skills and learning that you can use other items to paint with.
Mrs. Cajowski’s and Mrs. Prasert’s MWF class had their PUMPKIN DAY today. The class picked pumpkins, decorated pumpkins, made a pumpkin craft and even had a pumpkin themed snack. π

Art Enrichment π¨ποΈπ- We read the picture book Mouse Paint. It is a story
of three white mice that discover three jars of paint—red, blue, and yellow. They dance and splash into the paint creating new colors. Our little artists recreated the story using cotton balls as the mice moving through the different paint colors to create new colors - purple, green and orange. They had a blast with color mixing. Next week will be a new picture book and painting technique.
π We have SPIRIT π - Our M-F, MW and MWF classes participated in their first spirit day. Students and staff wore pink today to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thank you all for your participation. π
